Casa de Peregrinos 5th annual Hunger Strike

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of purpose that I extend this invitation to you on behalf of Casa de Peregrinos (CdP) to join our Executive Director for the 5th Annual Hunger Strike, taking place on September 21-22, 2023.

The Hunger Strike serves as a solemn yet impactful means to raise awareness about the urgent problem of hunger that persists in our community. By voluntarily fasting for a period of 24 hours, we symbolize our commitment to advocating for those who suffer from food insecurity on an everyday basis.

This year's hunger strike holds special significance as we mark our fifth year of coming together to make a difference. Our previous strikes have yielded remarkable results, including increased public awareness, and valuable contributions to CdP. However, there is still much work to be done, and your presence can amplify our impact even further.
